RAYS 2026 Coaches
Coach Taylor swam for 14 years growing up for Club Teams and in High School. She coached the swim team and taught for two years at Blue Springs South High School and now teaches at Pleasant Lea Middle School. Coach Taylor is currently the boys & girls Assistant Coach for Lee's Summit North. Taylor is a mom to 2.
Coach Arie is a graduate of Lee’s Summit West High School, and a graduate of Howard University with a degree in HUman Development and Minor in Spanish. Coach Arie grew up participating in swim team and later went on to work as a Lifeguard, Group Swim Instructor, and Private Swim Instructor. She is also CPR certified. She is looking forward to another fantastic season with the Raintree Rays!
Leo swam for the Lakewood Cruisers for 8+ years, for Riptide swim team for 2 years and swam Varsity at St. Michael the archangel Catholic High School. He is currently swimming at William Jewell in mid distance and sprint freestyle and butterfly. His coaching experience started with Motus Ninja Warrior for 2 years, as well as with Riptide as an assistant coach for 3+ years. Currently while at William Jewell he is working with the athletics department during their games. He is pursuing a degree in Marketing and a minor in faith and culture. Fun fact: He qualified for national championships for ninja warrior for 4 straight years! He is so excited to be joining the coaching team for the Raintree Rays and is looking forward to this season!
Marissa swam for 14 years growing up between the RAYS, Empire Swim Club, and LSWHS. She currently attends Arkansas University and is pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders. Coach Marissa says being on the RAYS for the majority of her childhood makes it is so much fun passing on her love of the sport to younger swimmers! This is Marissa's 2nd year Coaching for the RAYS!
